Zorabots presents a new version of PepperControl.


This software can be installed when you have a valid license of PepperControl.


Please note that both Pepper robot and the computer on which you install PepperControl have to be connected to the internet.

It is also advisable that Pepper robot is connected with a network cable with your network or with a router with internet access.


UPDATING PEPPER YOURSELF RESULTS THAT ALL YOUR DATA ON THE ROBOT WILL BE LOST. PLEASE CONTACT SUPPORT FOR HELP WITH THE UPDATE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR DATA.

PepperControl zip file must not be unpacked.


Also it is important that you set the robot to default settings and the robot must be configured with Naoqi version 2.5.10.


Admin login credentials must be set to default (L: nao / P: nao)



With a new robot or after a flash:


First run the pre-installation tool 'PepperPrimer.exe' uit.

Enter the ip adres of the robot and click on 'Connect'.

Once connected to the robot, then click on 'Start'.



Now you will be able to install PepperControl on your robot.


Start 'Installer_v6.4.exe' and follow the instructions from the installer manual.


The robot will shut itself off when the installation is completed.
Restart the robot and wait until the robot reports that it is ready for use.

For good support, it is always advisable to install the latest software update on your robot.


If you are not allowed to install the new version, please create a support ticket and we will adjust this as soon as possible.
